Acupuncture for Cancer Care

I have been working with the Crocus Cancer Support Centre, Monaghan since 2016 providing Acupuncture to support clients during active Chemotherapy and Radium, before and after surgery, and during recovery.

Acupuncture is provided for cancer patients alongside cancer treatment, and as an integral part of their recovery in many leading hospitals and centres in the UK and worldwide.

Research supports the use of Acupuncture in treating many common symptoms associated with Cancer treatment such as pain, nausea, and insomnia. It is also very helpful for alleviating symptoms such as pain, digestive issues, insomnia and fatigue during palliative care, and in cases where ongoing cancer and symptom management is required.

Acupuncture is particularly beneficial for in supporting the following conditions in relation to Cancer care.

Acupuncture for Cancer Support

-Improves Appetite

-Dry Mouth

-Mouth Ulcers

-Hot Flushes

-Digestive Issues (IBS, Constipation etc)
